Between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay is the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. The Niagara Escarpment offers rocky cliffs overlooking Georgian Bay to the east and to West, amazing sunsets and the warmer waters of Lake Huron. with a multitude of inland lakes with gorgeous vistas and picture-perfect landscapes cascading all the way from Wiarton to the tip of the Bruce in Tobermory.
Northern Bruce Peninsula and South Bruce Peninsula make up the municipality structure on the UNESCO Bio sphere area we can call Home with Tobermory on the northern most tip of the Bruce famous for the Ms Chi-Cheemaun ferry crossing and Fathom Five National Marine diving park, Now let’s head south to Lion’s Head which is midway between Wiarton and Tobermory on the east coast overlooking Georgian Bay. Now further south, Wiarton which is affectionally known as the Gate Way to the Bruce and west on Lake Huron to Sauble Beach, Known for Its world-famous sunsets and of course 7 miles 11Km of clean safe sandy beach. The Bruce Peninsula offers so much more then sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters, Provincial parks for family camping, the Bruce trail system, so many local festivals and events, County Museum and Cultural Centres and of course, Sauble Winterfest, the famous Wiarton Willie festival held February 2nd, our beloved albino groundhog Wiarton Willie predicts how many more weeks of winter or how many more weeks till spring and it is always a great reason for a community get together Join us we would love to see you.
